Monetization Eligibility Checker

Three platforms, three completely different sets of numbers, and two of them have a second tier that people keep confusing with the first. Put your figures in below and see which thresholds you already meet and what is still missing.

Every number here comes from the platform’s own documentation. Where a platform does not publish a threshold, this tool says so rather than guessing.

What the tool does not tell you

Meeting the numbers is not the same as being accepted. All three platforms also require an account in good standing, and the channel itself is reviewed before anyone is let in. Original content rules apply everywhere and they are enforced by review, not by arithmetic.

Availability is the other half. A programme that is open in one country may not exist in another, and what counts is the country your account is registered in rather than where you are sitting. We went through that in where creator programs are available.

Where each number comes from

YouTube. The 500 subscriber tier and the 1,000 subscriber tier are two separate doors and they unlock different things. The lower one gives fan funding and Shopping, the higher one gives ad revenue. Both are set out in the Partner Program requirements, along with what changes on 1 February 2027 and what does not.

TikTok. The follower and view thresholds are published, but the account type requirement is the one that quietly disqualifies people, because switching to a Business account removes eligibility. The full set is in the Creator Rewards requirements.

Twitch. Affiliate is the only programme of the three with four numbers that all have to be true in the same 30 day window. Partner has no published checklist at all. Both are covered in the Affiliate and Partner thresholds.

Instagram is missing from the tool on purpose. It does not publish follower or view thresholds for its monetization tools, so any checker that gives you an Instagram number is inventing it. What it does publish is in what Instagram actually pays for.
